The staff for breakfast were very helpful, e.g. asking if wanted to order omelette, etc., when I informed the staff that my father in law was celebrating his 69th birthday, the manager visited our room with a tart and a hand made card. Thank you! We enjoyed that there was a convenience store located at the ground floor, easy to get the toiletries or some additional snacks for hotel guests.

Quick check in and check out. Wonderful coffee (The Coffee Shop). Pool open until 00:00. Close to Terminal 21. Quiet (if you choose a room opposite the road) Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Fixed bed.

Whenever I visit Bangkok (four times a year), I always stay at the Shama Lakeview Asoke. As normal, I requested that my room be located in Tower A, thus providing easy access to both the extremely well-equipped gym and large swimming pool. My request was arranged by 'Dream' from the Shama Reservations Team and the assistance from 'Mew' whilst checking-in was excellent. The Shama Lakeview Asoke is an excellent choice when staying in Bangkok, very highly recommended and we are looking forward to our next visit in a couple of months time.

Wonderful views, very nice staff and the availability of a three bedroom suite. It is a significant improvement from the previous Somerset Lakepoint that was located at the same property, but which was also excellent and I stayed many times!

The pool is good. The washing machine in the room is quite handy for us. The location is ok. But the shuttle really makes it good because the hotel is quite deep in a narrow street. The shuttle can take to a spot that is on the Main Street of the mrt and bts station. Without the shuttle I wouldn’t call it great location because for us there’s not much choices to eat close by. The good thing on the street is the four massage places across from the hotel.

We come every 6 months and the rooms are always spacious and very clean. The service at lobby level is very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant as the shopping area and rail service is only 500 meters walk. I also loved the lake nearby of which I loved doing my morning walk/jog. The lake is 1.8 km for one circuit.

Location is great. Shuttle service is convenient. Pool is lovely and big. Room has everything you need.

We were on the 29th floor of tower 2 with absolutely amazing views of Bangkok. Staff were helpful. Great that it had coffee shop, restaurant and shop on the premises. There was a good sized gym and swimming pool in tower 1 which we didn't use so can't comment. Pool towels were provided. Room had washer/dryer so was great to get all the washing done before we headed home. Beds were comfortable. About a 10 minute walk to terminal 21 and BTS. We always walked up to find a tuktuk or taxi there to use but the hotel ran a shuttle service to the area if you didn't want to walk.
